Joerg Kruse Visits New Distributor in Melbourne, Australia
After a 15‑hour flight from the U.S., I arrived in Melbourne—Australia’s second‑largest city and truly one of the most beautiful in the world. Stepping out into the warm summer air and checking into the Crown Towers, I immediately felt the warmth and hospitality that Aussies are famous for. Over the next few days, I had the chance to explore the city, meet the locals, and experience firsthand why Melbourne consistently ranks as one of the world’s top destinations.

Meeting Our New Distributor: Trenchless Supply Group (TSG)
On Sunday, I visited our new distributor, Trenchless Supply Group (TSG), at their Melbourne facility. From the first moment, it was clear I was dealing with a highly professional and well‑organized team. Together we reviewed the plans for the upcoming demonstrations of the IPP Solutions PipeCaster Pro spray lining system.
A fun highlight of the day was visiting Cummings—Australia’s version of Home Depot—and realizing they have nearly the exact same tools and materials we use in the U.S.
Two Days of Demo Success with Over 40 Contractors

The next two days exceeded all expectations.
Day 1: More than 20 contractors from the region attended and stayed the entire day—many of them jumped right in for hands-on testing of the PipeCaster Pro system.
Day 2: Another large group of contractors from across Australia arrived for a full‑day session.
Seeing the enthusiasm, curiosity, and excitement from all these professionals reminded me why we do what we do. The PipeCaster Pro system made a strong impression—and the buzz it created carried throughout the week.
Cairns, Queensland – Training With Magnum Plumbing
After Melbourne, I flew north to Cairns, Queensland, where one of TSG’s customers had just purchased a new PipeCaster Pro Gen 4 system.
Before training began, I took the opportunity to visit the Great Barrier Reef by helicopter—landing on a floating reef platform in the middle of the ocean. Absolutely breathtaking.
Then it was time to get to work.
Training Day 1 – Preparing for a Complex Project

At Magnum Plumbing, owner Stephen welcomed me with open arms. He had a tight deadline on a challenging roof‑top spray lining project, so we jumped straight into training at his warehouse.
The upcoming job involved spray lining:
120 ft of 12" storm drain pipe
Six 90‑degree elbows
All in one day
On the roof of the Cairns Central Shopping Center
During rainy season
In tropical heat
On a metal rooftop
Not for beginners—but Stephen wasn’t intimidated.
Training Day 2 – The Big Job

With equipment loaded, we reached the upper roof using a scissor lift. Everything went smoothly—everyone worked like they had been doing this for years.
Stephen insisted on doing all the spraying himself and didn’t want to let go.
We successfully applied nine coats within four hours—an incredible achievement given the conditions.
Other CIPP lining companies had attempted this job and failed.Only the PipeCaster Pro System could get it done right.
The building owner was thrilled and immediately offered Stephen more lining work. The success of this single job essentially paid for the entire system.
A Final Stop in Sydney
Before heading home, I spent a couple of well-deserved relaxing days in Sydney, visiting the world-famous Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and the Botanical Garden—another unforgettable experience in a truly world-class city.
A Strong Partnership and Exciting Future Ahead
Upon returning home, I was thrilled to see we had already received multiple large purchase orders from TSG. Their confidence in IPP Solutions—and the overwhelming interest from Australian contractors—shows enormous potential for growth in this region.
On behalf of myself and Jim Harper, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our distributors, customers, and partners for your continued trust in our systems.
We look forward to seeing you all at the WWETT Show February 17th to 19th 2026 in Indianapolis!
